TITLE: Rouaz

Series produced during the summer of 2020. As a Swiss person living in Wallis, I have always seen these beautiful alpine cows. We call them "Hérens". I spent a week in a "tsigère" (word for a small mountain hut in this valley) on the Rouaz pasture. Every morning the sound of the bells woke me up. A magnificent week out of time and the health crisis. This series also reminds us that mountain farmers exist and that people still make a living from working the land.
