TITLE: Grande Hotel Beira
Mozambique/Beira
Play between old walls and long shadows. The "Grande Hotel" in Beira was once the "Pride of Africa".
Built in the 1950s, closed down as a result of the fight for independence. Today up to 3000 people live there between rubbish and dirt. The children, who where born and grow up there, know no other way and make the ruin their playground.
