Hackett’s Bar in Schull, Ireland. One warm night in July. All packed in like sardines. All dripping sweat. All in good spririts and all having the time of their lives – The Tan and Sober Gentlemen included. They came all the way from Northern Carolina USA – and they smashed it. Exploring their Celtic roots, the Tan play Irish/Folk/Punk-Grass with real energy and intensity. They are about the best drink and dance band you’ll find. The craic was 90 that night in July.
