TITLE: The eyes of Malagasy children
In November 2019 I traveled to Madagascar to photograph the famous baobabs.
I was especially fascinated by the Malagasy children I met on the way through the country.
The Malagasy population is very young: 50% are under 18.
Often the children were eating mangoes and their faces were dirty but the intensity of their expressive eyes I will never forget.

I'am born in Germany and based in Florence since 20 years.
My passion for Africa aroused at young age after
numerous trips with my parents to Southafrica and Namibia. It has deepened during a one year stay at Capetown from where I explored the country and surroundings. Further trips to Kenya, Namibia, Botswana and Madagascar followed.
My photos of africa are mainly inspired by the original beauty of nature, indigenous people and animals
