TITLE: Bosco
Bosco is a study of the woods near my home in the north of Italy. I'm interested in the simple forms of nature rather than the dramatic or sublime and as such I'm drawn to those small corners of woodland where nature is left to it's own devices without being disturbed or managed.
This is a work-in-progress that I've been shooting in the winter months over the past 10 years or so. I take a 2x1meter panel with me to separate elements from the background where necessary. It's a slow, meditative process where I select a very small area of woodland on each visit and look for features that describe the graphic, delicate beauty of nature.
