TITLE: Serenity

A series that I shot over two sessions at the beautiful Serenity Falls in Queensland. Taken about a year apart, both sessions were taken on early winter mornings avoiding any crowds and in low light to help aggrandise the dark tones. My vision was to minimise an incredibly busy scene and focus purely on the tranquillity and natural beauty of these falls.

I simply try to incorporate a minimalist approach that values a calm aesthetic of the landscape through the projects I work on. While my inspiration derives from many artists, I feel it is paramount for an artist to aspire to a mere scrambling of those inspirations in order to create their own unique path. It is your own personal journey. A journey that I've found profoundly humbling and though challenging, ultimately provokes an artistic drive, energy and fulfilment within me to accomplish future works.
