TITLE: The first element
Water is what permits life. In this series I wanted to show how even a common element is able to marvel and can inspire good observers. I mainly focused on the states of water. Ice cracks into pieces with sharp angles, it's able to cut. Light illuminates it creating contrasts or neat drawings. Liquid water's surface can still create contrasts when moved, but they are transitory and continuously changing. Still water can be a mirror, flowing water can be a broken mirror. Clouds are made of water: they are soft and smooth. Light is scattered in gradations and landscapes look aery.
AUTHOR: Stefano Anghileri (Italy)
Born in 1985, environmental engineer, weather and geography enthusiast, Lake Como based. I started to put some serious effort in photography in the year 2005, when, uploading weather photos on a specialized website, I was told by many contributors to have some talent. This rose my interest towards landscapes which I often combine with interesting skies. Following my passions, I also started with travel photography and now I'm slowly drifting towards minimalism and conceptualism,.
