TITLE: Bare abstract trees with different birds which lose their habitat
Explanation of the collection
2021
The collection is intended to illustrate the loss of the normal habitat of our native birds, which is increasingly being caused by the commercial use and spread of economically used agricultural land.
The works show in an artistic context an environment of leafless tree structures and their fragility, consciously abstract and „hostile to life", in which well-known singing and garden birds have to live more and more.
Particularly emphasized is the important possibility of communication for this bird world and finding a partner to ensure their conservation of the population.
It shows the communication of the Common serin, the Bullfinch, the Goldfinch, the Robin, the kingfisher and the Yellow wagtail.
