TITLE: Blåkulla
"There was a time when villagers had a more personal connection to nature and its beings.
Nordic folklore "Folktro" was a unique approach to nature that could protect, heal but was also a way of having a close relation to the sudden changes in the enviorment.
This work is a salute to the old tradition and places around Sweden historically connected to this.
Almost every village had its own approach, yet many beings, Such as Rået or Mylingen and tomten was present with different names. "
The photographies are taken at places and objects related to Swedish folklore (folktro).
Here i have visited areas where beings such as Troll, Vittror, Älvor once was supposed live.
In Sweden most have know a little of this tradition, yet most of the stories are fading away."
