TITLE: The dinosaurs in Stocznia Cesarska
The photos tell about the adventures of dinosaurs that came out of the docks at The Imperial Shipyard in Gdańsk. The Imperial Shipyard is located along the bank of the Martwa Wisła River, in close proximity to the main railway station and the Old Town. It is a place of great historical importance - from its origins in the 19th century to the events that led to the fall of communism in Eastern Europe. Currently, it is a revitalized area and the place where the art is created. The background for the photos were shipyard halls, shipyard cranes and the artistic installation "The Castaways". I chose this place for photos because the dinosaurs are unreal and the place seems to be out of this world.
AUTHOR: Żaneta Gabriel (Poland)
I took my first steps in photography in 2007 Due to the fact that I live by the sea, I mainly dealt with the seascape. My life priorities caused a ten-year break in staking pictures. Lockdown made me return to photography in 2020 and I am catching up on a long hiatus. I make my dreams come true: I create underwater stories, transfer viewers to my world through toys, and show architecture seen with my eyes. My photos have been awarded in competitions: Chromatic Awards, Monochrome Photography Awards, TIFA, BIFA, ND Awards, PX3 Awards, FAPA, New York Photogrphy Awards, MonoVision Awards, Annual Photography Awards. In categories: landscape, seascape, cityscape, architecture, conceptual, fineart. My photos have been published: The PX3 Annual Book 2022, Photographize Monochrome Issue 02 November 2022.
