TITLE: As Shadows Pass

As Shadows Pass is a series of images capturing the life of a shadow and concurrently marking the passing of days. Captured over a cycle of hours on the campus of The College of DuPage, seemingly solid forms pass over the surface of the architecture, sometimes with the softness of a caress, at other times with hard-edged brutalism. These images formalize patterns and shapes that quickly fade, referencing that what is known can become unknown as each day advances; however, the light that darkens will certainly rise again tomorrow.
