TITLE: Zada´s wonderful dreams

The architectural concept has been changing throughout history and, especially in recent times, to adapt to the citizen and their spatial, vital, energy or social needs.

However, more and more, the concept of BEAUTY is incorporated into the architectural work, giving rise to magnificent buildings, stations, auditoriums, sports centers, bridges, etc. all over the world.

The Hungerburg funicular station, in the city of Innsbruck, capital of Austrian Tyrol, is a modern and beautiful building with glass vaults, designed by the great British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, which was inaugurated in 2007.

Its avant-garde design is based on a futuristic architectural expression, made with innovative techniques that allow supporting vaults of fluid geometry made of double curvature glass.

The photos we have taken at Hungerburg station try to highlight, in particular, the lines and curved shapes of Z. Hadid's construction. To do this, we have used a dark finish that contrasts with the white lines that circulate throughout the glass construction.

Through digital techniques we have managed to deeply obscure everything that was not white lines, generating an atmosphere of mystery and harmony.

I am a photographer based in Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain). I specially like taking pictures of architecture and portraits.
I started taking photographs in 2004, and during the past years I have dedicated myself to perfecting my training in Photography and treatment of images with Photoshop. I have made several individual exhibitions, basically of architectural elements, portraits and travel photography.
