TITLE: Tranquil Blooms of Modernity
The Brutalist-Internationalist style of the buildings in the Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller Empire State Plaza in Albany, New York, presents compelling compositional dynamics for black and white photography. The series is an abstract interpretation of the structures situated in and around the Plaza, in particular, The Egg, a performing arts venue, and Agency Buildings 3 & 4.
AUTHOR: Aashish Kaul (United States)
My interest in photography is an extension of my interest and work in literature. My aims here are modest and personal; my hope merely to achieve a certain symbiosis, to apply the lessons acquired over years of practice in one artistic medium to another, and to gain in the process new creative energies of expression.
