TITLE: Farmer and his Buffalo
Old China is rapidly fading into history. But there are still places where traditional village life can be seen. In the banyan tree forest of Yangjiaxi a farmer and his buffalo pass through the mists of early morning.

AUSTRALIA
I am a retired physicist who has photographed most of my life, inter¬weaving photography with my scientific career that has extended over 40 years.
My fascination with photography started in the 1960s with the publication of the iconic image of a baboon in full flight turning to confront the chasing leopard. Today, the image still acts as a carrot on a stick, taunting me to achieve its standard with the taking of the next photograph. Combine this with the excitement of travel and the world becomes an amazing place, providing opportunity across the photographic genres of landscapes, cityscapes, events, portraits and wildlife.
I am an accredited professional photographer at the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers, and have gained numerous awards at international photographic competitions.
