Ferrara, Italy. Street scene captured in a split second, I had seen these guys approaching and from their smile I realized that they were going to hug each other. I was lucky.
AUTHOR: Umberto Lucarelli ITALY
Born in 1964, magistrate, keen on street photography and reportage. I live and work in Naples. I bought my first reflex in 2012 when my daughter was supposed to do The First Communion. A great interest in photography was immediately born that led me to start a path mainly self-taught, except for small workshops and the frequenting of some photo groups of my city. From the beginning I approached the street photography that gave me the opportunity to express myself freely and above all allowed me to associate, with photography, my other great passion to go for a walk. Since then, when I don't wear judge's gown, I dedicate almost my entire free time to photography, although I do not travel much for both work and family needs. Silver Medal in 2019 at PX3; Gold Medal in 2019 at the Paris Street Photo Award; honorable mentions in 2016 at the MIFA (Moscow International Photo Awards), honorable mentions in 2017, 2018 and 2019 at the IPA (International Photo Awards), in 2019 at the Chromatic Award and the ND Award (Neutral Density Award), in 2019 at FIOF (International Fund for Photography).
