Feeling the Joy
My camera recorded this scene in color which highlighted the beauty of the fireworks but did not capture the other part of the story. There had been long delays that night due to weather, and suddenly the noise began and everyone rushed to the water’s edge. Portraying the scene in black and white conveyed both the spectacle in the sky and people’s excitement and joy, which was the real story on a summer night in this old and beautiful city of Quebec.
