TITLE: M’kaan tribe
The Chin people (Burmese: ချင်းလူမျိုး)are Sino-Tibetan ethnolinguistic group native to Chin State of Myanmar.
There are six facial tattoo patterns in the Chin region and each differs from the other depending on the tribe. The M’uun, M’kann, Yin Du, Nga Yah, Uppriu and Dai tribes all have contrasting symbols and patterns which are used when tattooing.
The M’kaan women have line tattoos on both their foreheads and chins.
