The local bars in Ethiopia's Omo Valley are a wonderful place to find a range of characters, although if you go too late in the day you may find the effects of the drinking taking effect. I find earlier is better, but it also helps to buy a couple of rounds of drinks to get everyone to relax. This man is in a bar in the town of Konso, drinking a local beer from a traditional gourd.
