This Great Egret was on an early morning hunt shortly after sun rise. Its
tail feathers were barely hit by the sun when the image was taken.
In the absence of any wind, the surface of the lake where I found it was as smooth as
a mirror - only to be hit by the sudden explosive action of the bird.
