Since I was eleven years old, when I received my first camera, I was indulged in photography. Even back then, animals have been my favourite subjects. I grew up with anlogue photography and I filled many colour films in the Zoo. Zoological gardens make a big contribution to conservation and education. Beside animal- and enclosure photography for Zoos, wildlife photography is my passion and my personal way to contribute to conservation.
My love for nature was leading me to Innsbruck, Austria, in 2011, where I studied biology for four terms, beneath my work in the Bavarian casino in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In the following years I educated myself further with correspondence courses for tourism management and journalism.
On diverse trips through Europe, Asia and Africa I could promote my photographical skills and develop my own style. Because in photography you never stop learning and development is an ongoing process, I am always looking forward for new tasks and challenges.
Since 2019 I work part-time as a freelance photographer with focus on animal- and nature photography.
