TITLE: Majestic Matterhorn
I took this picture during my winter hike in Switzerland in December 2019. I visited the Matterhorn more than 20 years ago, and since then I have always wanted to come back to take a beautiful image of the Matterhorn. I took this image using Sony alpha7riii with a telephoto (70-200 mm) lens. The picture is rendered in black and white to emphasize the lighting, tonal contrast, and texture of the mountain.

I love photography that shows a different point of view from what we see in daily lives. I am always impressed by how beautiful black and white pictures can emphasize a certain aspect of the composition, lighting, and feeling. I also love macro photography for its vibrant color and beautiful details of tiny objects that we normally cannot see with our eyes.
