TITLE: Pure - Shores of oblivion
Pure represents a hidden realm, where landscapes glow in a magical light, invigorated by an enchanting silence. Because there is no sign of human presence, a dream world arises, accentuating the purity of unspoiled nature.
This seascape was taken on the Dingle peninsula, Ireland, last summer. A 15 minute timeslot of dryness on a rainy and windy evening was the reward for my patience. I'll never forget the magical silence of that moment. Ireland at it's best...
AUTHOR: Peter Schroyens
BELGIUM
Three years of photographic studies and many more of self-tuition, eventually led Belgium based photographer Peter Schroyens to fine art photography, with architecture and landscape as his favorite themes.
With photography and image editing as his tools, he likes to transform existing places into his personal vision, creating images that transcend reality.
His love for ghoststories, vintage science fiction and the darkness of the gothic scene is clearly visible in his signature style.
In Peter's mind, his images serve as portals to parallel worlds, showing our world in different realities.
As his main goal, he hopes to evoke a sense of mystery and wonder with the viewer, and to tranfer the feeling he experienced when visiting these places.
If time permits, Peter's constantly working on new projects for future exhibitions, as well as for expanding his portfolio.
A number of his fine art work is included in private collections.
