TITLE: Floating Torii
Early morning on the shores of lake Biwa. This is the famous red-orange torii in Ryōbu-style, at Shirahige-jinja shrine. Torii is a symbolic gate to a shinto shrine and the boundary between the sacred and ordinary space. A clean shot with a minimalist touch and a fifty-fifty composition to create a strong focus on the point of interest.
