TITLE: Legs


Walking along the Botafogo metro in Rio de Janeiro I noticed the very similar legs that probably belonged to Mother and daughter and managed to capture this classic image.

Surprising and extracting from the viewers their smiles, sighs, opening up their feelings and sharpening their curiosity is what I aim for with my images.
I try to stimulate people's perception and show details that eventually went unnoticed by their looks in the daily rush.
I register common places, everyday scenes and the metamorphoses that occur through the time around me and so I try to reveal part of who I am, how I live, how I see the world and life. Anyway it is the way I chose to vent my feelings and reveal my soul, my truths.
I really like the words the editor Fernando Rios so sensibly mentioned when I had some images published in REVISTA CARCARA PHOTOART # 06 SUMMER 16:
Their images are apparently common, they are within reach. However, they surprise us, shock us and challenge us. They ask:
“Look at me, but look at me carefully; there is something to be deciphered ”. Like something that needs to be deciphered in our lives.
With his photos he asks us: “Do you know where you are? Are you just part of the landscape? “
Conway unveils us with extracting art from an everyday prosaic.
