TITLE: Black dive
Black dive is a photo from a série called, My sea.
They are born and disappear with disconcerting ease. They belong to a changing and malleable world. They are inconsistent and ambivalent, and trace a dotted path across the seas, milestones in the vastness of the ocean. Lands conducive to fantasies and utopia, they exert a powerful fascination, cultivating for those who inhabit them a circumscribed identity, determined by its contours and the way in which the sea becomes a shield surrounding its shores, protecting - although not always - its inhabitants. They are mobile like a drifting buoy.
These are the islands.
I am an islander, like all the islanders of the world we leave with the sea. My island is Corsica, a small island in the middle of Mediterranean Sea.
Like all the islands of all the seas of all the océans, surrounded by water and traditions.
