TITLE: "Wimmelbuch Strand"
This is a photo I took walking along the Dutch coast line, from where I'm standing, one can see Belgium on the horizon. A sailing boat came into view & I noticed all these individual groups of folks, each individually going about, the business of enjoying their day on the beach.
AUTHOR: Mark Clarivette (Germany)
My name is Mark Clarivette, I'm 48 years young, I live in Germany, originally from South Africa & I love to take photos. The first camera I owned was back in the early 90's , I remember it was a Nikon & I took it with me on a 3 month road trip around South Africa. I didn't even know how to use it properly. I only have a few pics from that trip because I only had about 2 rolls of film with me. I ended up selling that camera to buy a plane ticket to come to Europe. Since then I have always borrowed a camera & when cellphone cameras became a thing, I shot on my phone. In 2017 I bought my first digital camera & now I enjoy just walking around & taking photos of anything & everything. When the time allows & I am not working. I work in child care & this gives me the opportunity to take lots of photos of children & the beauty & gift of their innocence. These pics will never be published & I generally just give the photos to their parents, who are always happy to get a glimpse of what their kids have been getting up to. This also gives me great joy & a wonderful opportunity to learn how to make pictures.
I would consider myself to be a hobby photographer & my dream, when I grow up, is to be able to make a few bucks from the photos I like taking.
