TITLE: Honeycomb
Like a beehive, apartment living can be communal. Though more often than not, we live amongst ourselves trying our hardest to ignore our neighbors and pretend we're alone.
The repeating pattern of the windows alludes to how similar we all really are, no matter how much we try to stand out. We may live separate lives, but we are closer than we can imagine. If there's anything I've learned in my travels, it's that parallel lives exist everywhere you look. We each have our own tiny, almost identical slice of life but if we bottle it up and shut others out, we miss out on the beautiful chance to experience life together, much like a beehive, working toward a common goal.
