Brett Howard Nelson is an award-winning photographer. He has a creative and diverse background in photography, graphic design, and creative writing. His inspiration as a photographer comes from Herbert Matter and Alexey Brodovitch—proving that with graphic design and photography, one can have the best of both worlds. He also finds botanical inspiration from fine art photographer, Imogen Cunningham.

With the use of design elements such as line, shape, texture, contrast, negative space, and nature in photography, Brett has successfully achieved many of his artistic and creative goals in capturing compelling images from the development of his unique, creative voice.
