TITLE: Honed & Toned

This was a model that came for a fashion shoot. He then offered to do some shirtless shots. Well, sometimes you work with what is freely given, especially when it is the opportunity to photograph a very honed & toned physique. Let's just say that my husband, who was assisting on the shoot, had extreme abs envy !! The model was such a humble & polite young man, but very willing to show the results of his physical hard work & dedication. I created this set of images showcasing his muscular definition & also with a sleeveless hoodie to draw focus to just his arms. He was a natural in front of the camera & was really enjoying himself. This is evident in a couple of the somewhat candid, off guard shots which I have included in the set as I really like them & they compliment the content & flow of the other images. This was a simple light set up, no flash, using only either 1 or 2 continuous light boxes at a time for each shot.

I am currently an Amateur level photographer, looking to elevate my status to Professional, with a focus in Fashion, Beauty & general Portrait work, but also with an interest in outdoor photography & other subject matter. In 2019, my VIEWBUG members's gallery was in their TOP 10% most popular, the website membership is worldwide with thousands of members so that is some achievement. I've also been a FINALIST x 2 of THE MAKE UP SHOW PHOTO COMPETITIONS ( Orlando & Dallas, USA ). In 2019, I was invited by the owner of a small hotel in Turkey to take flower photos to compliment the colour themes in each of the hotel bedrooms, the photos were printed on canvass in various sizes, the largest being 1.4 sqm, and are now hanging proudly in 9 hotel rooms. Inherently artistic, I attended art college for 5 years following school education. Things went in a different direction after that & but now it is my time to revisit & follow my creative passions. In 2012 I trained as a Make Up artist & qualified with Distinction. Where Styling & Make Up Artist skills are called for in a project, I can incorporate these along with my Photography.
