TITLE: Sinking Away
In the middle of the Chesapeake Bay sits Tangier Island, a natural marvel, a world famous source of soft shell crab, and the home of a unique and disappearing American culture. Rising tides inundate the island's shores and flood its interior through saltwater "guts." Day by day, the Chesapeake washes away viable land, drives away the island's youth, and reclaims the island, a victim of erosion, climate change and the apathy of the outside world.
