TITLE: Bernat, my neighbour
Bernat, my neighbour is from Germany, he use to work in office Monday to Friday with suit clothes. He moves to Barcelona, in the bohemia district, Raval. With his existential pursuit to define himself; he broke through the shackles of what man is expected to be and do.
He told me that when he was a child use to dress up with the closest of her mother. Now he enjoys doing that again. Maybe all of us should don't lost our fresh kids that we still have inside.
There are some photos taken during the quarantine. From my bedroom window to the terrace. Its so nice to have a good relationship with your neighbours in these times.
AUTHOR: Maria Pla (Spain)
Photographer from Barcelona, from 1992. I study photography in the south of Spain. And there I discover my passion to do portraits of my neighbors and their houses, trash and world, using analogies and B/W. I became super close to them and I love to be able to do random photos when I feel it. That year I win in that school the final project ''La Rue del Percebe'' and it's all about the places and people around me.
Two years later I move back to Barcelona, and I meet this neighbour that he uses to dress up, singing and performance in the terrace, I just love it and again first was our friendship and then the photos or maybe both at the same time.
