TITLE: 120cm | Social Distancing
We were born isolated, but our souls are always seeking for a touch.
We were born lonely, but our bodies yearn for company until the end of our life.
However, we also instinctively build barriers against visitors, because you would never know whether they bring flowers or a sword.
What drives humans apart are humans themselves.
Through various scenes, this series explores such an ambivalent state where humans are afraid to bond with each other and meanwhile have strong desires to connect.
"The wound is the place where the Light enters you.", poet Rumi said.
What will you do?
Dare you break down all these walls just to let the moonlight in? Dare you crawl out from your castle just to hold others' hands?
