TITLE: Vision

It came as a vision short before waking up.

Inspired by what is Beautiful, Everlasting and Pure, Nature, Legends & Myths and The Old Masters.

The cave is the symbol of mother earth. The waterfall represents the paths a person follows.

To dive into the world within, a place between heaven and earth.

This Photographic Painting consists of approximately 150 layers, 27GB file size, 300x200cm, with hand-painted waterfalls, mists, and skies, shadows and lights, digitally with a tablet and brush. Water and Cave created out of multiple different photographs, fused together by hand and imagination.

In her photography, you will often find fauna that she has photographed in their own natural habitat, in the hope to make the audience more aware that fauna can be left in peace for the final photograph.

Essentially, she creates imaginary worlds from scratch, extracted, created, and unified from real parts of nature and locations she photographs across the globe.

Its location is undefinable, and by long labor of collecting and unifying different photographs, it transports us to a constructed imaginary reality.
