TITLE: Langurs
One has to be lucky to see tigers while on safari in the national parks of India. There are days when there is no tiger to be found. Langurs, however, are usually abundant and never fail to entertain. They hang out in large groups and frolic through the trees. When they sit still they are attractive subjects for portrait photography and their coloration lends itself to black and white. The babies are nearly black and, when still very small, look like creatures from outer space with their out-sized ears. These photos were taken in Ranthambhore and Bandhavgarh National Parks.
