TITLE: Inner Landscapes
As beings on this planet we continuously redefine the term truth, moving the discourse from one extreme to another, created to support our own narrative and protect the ego. Bent and shaped through the lens of this consumerist/survival of the fittest environment, being alive at this time we have to live with a continued change, movement and abuse of the idea of truth, creating over recent years an environment of negativity with the loss of communication and positive, creative discussion.
Inner landscapes has come from a place of an ongoing personal journey, a way of expressing an internal adventure. The need to engage with the world around me in a positive and happy way, not be drawn into the negative waves that sweep the world in what seems to be an ever-increasing number. I want to hold on to the appreciation of my life, the feeling of being grateful for every day I am alive,
The aim of this exhibition is to establish a space where the viewer can spend time, allowing the eye to wander around the images, creating a sense of peace or relaxation and hopefully a positive response out of what is essentially a negative image.
