TITLE: Things to see and forget in Belgium
These images are part of a series exploring objects you might encounter while moving across Belgium. Maybe you will remember some of them, but most of the time you won't. And even if most objects are not unique for the country, all together they form it's character, it's 'Belgitude'.
AUTHOR: Wout De Ridder (Belgium)
In 1990 Wout De Ridder starts taking pictures consciously with a Pentax Spotmatic manual camera.
He's interested in nature photography, reportage or simply images that touch him.
He does some commissions for student organisations, and participates in some collective exhibitions.
When he starts working in a travelling theatre, he still makes pictures of this way of life, and his images and composite pictures serve for the company's website.
He decide to take this constant element in his life to a higher level, and finishes a formation in Syntra Antwerp and continues forming himself. He also searches on his own for techniques and views that appeal to him.
