TITLE: URBANS
This series of URBAN LANDSCAPES was shot around Europe from London, to Portugal and closer to home in Italy, representing an inward search towards the incessant need to reflect on the relationship we nurture with the places we live in or pass through. It is an exploration of the feelings and emotions which are stirred by the architectural landscapes that represent an archive of memories. These images give us a glimpse at forgotten alleys and streets where a romantic sense of nostalgia for the past and distant memories resonate through the exploration of topographical research. Memories that enhance a profound reflection within ourselves creating an awareness about our times and our surroundings in a moment of deep disconnection between places and people in contemporary society. These photos attempt to connect us to the environment that surrounds us and which we often take for granted passing through without stopping to observe, share or absorb it to its full extent.
