TITLE: TWA Flight Center
When I was 14 I went to learnt English to the USA. I was very disappointed as I did not fly on B747, The Queen of the Sky. All my suffer melted away when I got of the B767 at TWA T5 in JFK. I felt in love with the building, so unique, so elegant, so impressive. Flew few more years through it, the more I experience it, the more I loved it. In late 90s TWA collapsed and the building almost was demolished. Architects fought to keep up, it could not be demolish, no way!
I wanted close to me so I painted on the wall in my living room in my apartment in Madrid.
Then, last year I learnt that they were opening it as a hotel. I could not miss this opportunity, and on my next trip to the USA I spent a night in it. Charming, beautiful, unique, not enough beautiful words for me to describe it. The combination of unbelievable architecture with aviation, my dream came true.

I was born in Bilbao (Basque Country, Spain) in 1975. I Moved to Madrid after finishing Energy Engineering. I started working as an Engineer in the aviation fuel industry, and I still do. I love it. I moved to Dublin (Ireland) in 2016 to kick off the upgrading of Dublin Airport Fuel Farm & Hydrant System, as the Terminal Manager of the Irish company we created, to start the business and get it running. In 2022, I was told that the next year I was moving back to Madrid, and this connected to few other events, brought me to leave the company after 21 years, so I could stay in Dublin, work 4 days a week, and get involved in a role in the same industry, with wider impact worldwide.
Airplanes are my passion, photography is starting to be. I really enjoy science and engineering, music, cycling, hiking, mother nature, swimming and spending time with family and good friends.
I want to inspire others with my photos. Tell my stories, the people I love and the places I have seen. If possible, I would like to make the world a better place by touching hearts with my work. If I get you more compassion and caring about others that’s good enough to make little changes, so the world today is better than yesterday. Even a little is enough for me, for my mission here.
