TITLE: "Blessed Streets of Valletta"
My first evening in Malta, in September, 2018, took me on a wonderful time travel to the fortress capital city of Valletta, about 7 mins walk from my stay at Floriana. In Valletta, every building is a painting, every little lane is a dream. The entire city is one continuous expression in Baroque architecture.
What is hard to miss by is the corner of each building: 'blessed' by a patron saint overlooking that life on the street goes by, as ordained!
This picture was taken at one such quiet corner of Melita St. , on the eve of Victory Day, as the city was decking up for the official celebrations and a relaxed holiday.

I am a design researcher by profession: my job requires me to identify behavioural insights. I do this by meeting people in their everyday context: their home, their village, their pharmacy, their hospital and striking up a conversation, doing a few activities and most important of all, listening. Through all of this, I travel, for work and then on my own, often solo. And therein, I meet more people in more new places!
