TITLE: Dealing in Joy

The Melbourne CBD is a dense area of Australia drenched in caffeinated materialism and relentless self-obsession. It is a place often unrecognisable to those who have left and then returned even after short periods of time. Amongst the mess this man sits alone on the corner of Swanston and Bourke Streets selling balloons to passers by. We are presented here predominately with a metaphorical visual representation of the inflated versus the deflated, but also a pertinent display of the innately human knack for spreading joy.
