TITLE: "Ate" Grills On!
This lady had to work two to three jobs. At night, she is here, selling pork barbeque at Php 12.00 per stick on the streets of San Andres Bukid Manila, Philippines to sustain her family's daily needs.
That is no tall order for her, amidst increasing commodity prices and unemployment rate in the city.
Here is a captured photo of Filipino patience, persistence, and resiliency.
"Ate" is a Filipino term of respect or referral to an older sister or female strangers (in this case), who are in the same
generation but a little older
