TITLE: White gold

Two puzzled cross country skiers are staring at the snow-gun: a particularly dry winter in Italy's alpine region needs plenty of artificial snow to be sprayed in order to satisfy the skiing lust and the valley people's earnings expectations.

I'm fond of photography since 1986 when I began to shoot, develope and print B+W film. My job is train guard and I'm married with Barbara and father of Alvise and Eleonor. My life and professional experiences are based on the relationship with people, that' s certainly reflected in the way of conceiving photography.
My favorite photo genres are reportage and mountain landscape. My reference points are artists like Henri Cartier Bresson, Josef Koudelka and Sebastiao Salgado.
I was encouraged on several occasions by awards in photographic competitions.
