TITLE: Joachim Low at the World Cup
Germany Manager Joachim Low takes his place in the dugout before kick-off before his team played Mexico.
With several hundred photographres accredited for each game at the FIFA World Cup, the dugout before kick-off is a crowded place, with everyone vying for position to photograph the teams and managers, so it can be hard to find a clean background or something a bit different.
Rather than than shoot the teams lining up, I stood at the back of the crowd watching Joachim Low take his place before the game. At just the right moment, he turned his head, taking a minute to look up before the match started.
His team went on to lose the game 1-0, a big shock for the previous World Cup winners and a huge victory for Mexico.
