The moment a Sperm Whale decides to dive, you get all but a few seconds to capture it. I managed to take a few shots looking through the lens of my camera and the other few seconds watching in amazement with my own eyes. This shot was taken off the Kaikoura Coast of New Zealand's South Island.

Michael is an amateur photographer looking for his first lucky break through the medium photography which is his passion.
Originating from Marlborough, New Zealand, Michael currently lives and works in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. During his time there, he has made the most of world travel, engaging with different cultures and witnessing ever changing landscapes while trying to capture those memorable and unique moments along the way.
Michael has recently had his photography published on the global National Geographic Instagram page and in several online stories. He is always continually learning and trying to improve his photography.
