A long day in the desert, and the only oasis was this abandoned Service Station. A remnant of its former prosperity in the arid climate.
Show with a Canon 6D, using a 24mm lens, 100 ISO, f/22 and 1/50 sec.
Richard Collens CANADA
Richard Collens is a Calgary Based lifelong photographer, with a desire for adventure, road trips and finding the beauty in nature and in otherwise mundane surroundings. Although Richard has had a camera in his hand all of this life, he really started taking things seriously later in life, focusing more on the quality and artistry of his photographs. Although colour provides so much, Richard is drawn to the real beauty of black and white contrasts, looking for more powerful images without colour, where he truly succeeds.
