TITLE: Spleen Martinique
The French island of Martinique is a dreamlike destination for a lot of travelers. Somehow during my trip there I felt a sudden burst of melancholy. Was it the wind hitting the desert beaches, or this broken vase in a cimetery? When you step aside from music and fun, which is the trademark of sunny destinations, you can hear a different voice of the land, the silence of being far from everything, forgotten in what you truely are. This series is about a feeling. It reminds me that traveling is not so much about the landscapes, than the way we experience them.
