TITLE: climber's generation
We are watching the digitization moving forward. Moving towards a completely visual world we will live in. It is a generational conflict that makes the point of this issue.
I looked for conflicts like that one in various areas of life. My thoughts got stuck in an important part of my life: I found a conflict in the climbing sports.
The pictures show mother & daughter after a great day spending climbing. I could take pictures of letters comparing it to an image that shows a person typing a message on phone. But I did not.
Instead I took a picture of a woman climbing outdoors. It does not matter the weather or temperature it has outside. It is the bond to nature that matters. Feeling the rocks under your feet. Your hands holding the cliff's stones. It is all about just you and your instincts.
I compared this picture within my series to the daughter's picture. She also climbs, but she is doing it indoors. A protective hall giving her confidence in what she is doing. It is all prepared and all clean and safe. She choses the easy way of doing sports. The easy way of living her life.
