TITLE: "Nanay Antang"
"Nanay Antang" is how I call my grandmother. She is already at her eighties. The reason behind this photoshoot is that I want to dedicate this to her. She requested me to take her picture so that she could put this in her album. Giving pieces of advice when it comes to life's challenges is her forte. Her best line was "Keep on moving forward even if some are dragging you backward." Resilience, substance, and patience are the things I learned from her. That is why I am paying tribute to her for being the wisest grandma I ever had. She faced several challenges and overcame those. Even if her body isn't cooperating anymore, she manages to smile and crack jokes.
I opted to not have her dressed so that it would be more authentic because I do believe that simplicity is beautiful. What I want from my audience is that they should appreciate their grandparent's while they're still alive. Cherish those moments with them while there is time. It will forever be a part of your memory that will mark your heart.
