TITLE: Acupuncture

This series of photographs were taken while I was a volunteer at a hospital in China. Children as young as infants were admitted for acupuncture treatment on a daily basis in order to alleviate symptoms of disabilities such as cerebral palsy. These photos show the gut-wrenching mental and physical trauma that these children go through.
