TITLE: Captured by Pregnancy: a close look at the hell of hyperemesis gravidarum
Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is a hell of a pregnancy complication that is characterized by severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and a frequently dehydrated body. While new life is growing inside a women, her life is standing completely still. After 2 HG pregnancies, I decided to capture my worst pregnancy, as HG captured me.
Morning sickness became daily sickness, became day and night sickness. Sickness without an end. Sickness that became my daily life for eight months. I was frequently hospitalized because of dehydration. My babyboy and I would not have survived without intravenous therapy.
This series give a small insight in the lonelyness, the hopelessness, the contradition in that daily life goes on. And the struggle as a mom to contribute in running the household.
